I was hoping this window would be as kind as my last one but apparently not.  My REG exam was rough....especially my MC.  There were so many questions where I kept going back and forth between answers and I have no idea if they were getting harder or easier.  All I know is that I saw more calculations in the second two.  IF I pass this exam it will be because of the Sims cause they really weren't that bad.  The written communications were very good.  However, one was rather lengthy because it asked too many questions and although I knew the answers, it took a while to actually type it all.  One research tab was HORRIBLE!  I swear they set that question by stumbling upon the answer in the code themselves and thought "hmmmmmmm...this might be a hard question so let's use it".  You really had to research to find it.  I was ready to give up with 2 mins to go when I stumbled upon the answer. (And who knew that the time changes to minutes and seconds when you only have 2 mins left?)  The rest of the sims really weren't that bad but the MC carries so much weight I think I'm screwed.  I was really worried going into this exam and I just ended up choking.  Last night, I kept thinking "Suppose you can't find any of the answers in the MC?"  And that's what happened.

With regards to bus law/cpa ethics v. tax I would say 40/60.  Now, a note on timing.  I went in usually completing MCs in less than 1 minute/question and while that worked for testlet 1, I needed slightly more time for testlets 2 and 3.  However, I was still able to finish them all in 90 mins. The reality is that this isn't FAR where constantly playing around may lead you to the right answer.  Usually, you know right away or not at all, so don't waste time.  I had 90 mins for the sims and needed every second, particularly because of that lengthy written communication in sim 1.  If I only had 30-35 mins for either sim, I would have been completely screwed.

Right now I just feel like crawling under the covers and sleeping for 2 days.  The first time I can retake REG is Jan 4 and I'm supposed to take AUD Nov 30.  Now I'm afraid to study for that because I don't want another repeat of REG.  I'm going to bed...

Hi Rumboj,

What study materials did you use?

I hear different stories about the exam but one thing
common from everyone is lack of time.

Many were telling becker did cover everything. How did
you feel ?

Good luck on regulation results and AUD preparation

I used Gleim and it did cover everything.  I think I just choked.

Thanks for sharing.  I'm sure you did fine, by looking at your previous scores.  :)  You'll be ok.  Move onto AUD and wait for that passing score.  :)  Shoot, if I got a 74 last time, I'm certain you passed.
