Oh my sweat lord.

My feeling after the exam is "am i really taking reg?"

i mean what i have learned from becker compare to the actual exam is like math in elementary school vs. statistics & mathematics in business school!

Yeah~Tim & Peter did cover all topic but not deep and further enough for most of the stuff. They spent like forever on some knowledge (etc. taxable vs. nontaxable contribution to different entities regarding their foundation), which is only 20% of the exam, but mere 2 or 3 mins on others, which aggregately has over 50% on the exam.

What about the other 30%? Let me get this straight, i can only do step 4 however the exam required step 5 or further. And i even got a FAR stuff for my sim - different methods for rev. & cost regarding long-term contract (tax vs. completed percentage)

I think re-take is my score for REG, any suggestion for materials? i do need more practice but someone said wiley is not good enough.

Dude: You got an 84 on FAR. To me you are a GOD. I used Becker and passed - barely, I know what you are saying.

1st coupe of chapters of BECKER seemed like a waste of time

The SIMS blew my mind. Didn't even answer one - but passed.

Maybe you did.

Anyway, sit tight see what score you get - then get your game on if you didn't pass - at least now you know what to study.

FWIW - I've seen a lot of similar comments on this and other boards that Becker was not adequate to prepare.  As for me, I used a combination of Roger, the homework from the Wiley book (which is included in the Roger package) and the Wiley test bank (ditto).  Any of them without the others would probably not have been adequate, but the combination was really good and 2000+ MCQ's later, I felt well-prepared when I sat for the exam on Tuesday.  (Of course, I don't know my score yet, so this advice may not be worth it!)

I used Bisk (book/software, not lecture) and Wiley test bank for AUD and BEC and passed both the first time, but the Bisk format is super tedious and just wasn't working for me for REG.  I'll definitely use Roger again for FAR.

1st coupe of chapters of BECKER seemed like a waste of time - heck, I probably only had a handful of Qs on Law, and only
one SIM.

The SIMS blew my mind. Didn't even answer one - but passed.

I got an 89 on FAR, yet I feel the EXACT same way as the OP. The exam was ridiculously detailed and the only way to pass is to know EVERYTHING. If something in the review book is covered only in 1 or 2 sentences, you better know it well. The exam is ridiculous. I expect to retake REG as well.

Indeed, it was VERY detailed. I also supplemented REG with Rodger on the stuff that was hard for me, and read parts of the Wiley BIBLE when I really was stumped.

Upon reflection, I think you may have to use more than one BOOK to pass REG.
