I'm taking REG next Wed. and was wondering if anyone has some advice on
how they have used the authoritative literature in the past to answer the SIMS
questions? Any search tips or anything to make it easier to double check my
answers in that area.

Thanks,

Just search for it and spend a good 10 mins in researching. Once you finished the rest of the sims, go back to the research and double check. For FAR and REG for me, Thank God I doubled checked cuz I almost got the wrong answer. Good Luck! Most on Reg are the IRC codes so check up on them if you have time.

herewe,
Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it. However, I was looking for advice
more on how to use the auth. lit. to double check the answers on the other
Sims not just the research one. Of course, only the answers I've doubt about
it.
I did the same thing on Aud and it paid off very well. However, Audit
literature is setup different then the IRC. Thanks again!!!

For my first Sim, on the test I took yesterday, I used the research TAB and quickly found out the rule to use for the problem.  It's very helpful.  Just use it like you're doing a research problem, and use key words.
