Good gracious!  I am just not getting the right answers while doing the homework for this one!  I literally got 2 right out of the first 10 in the Becker homework.  Does anybody have any tips that have been helpful in studying this area?

This is where i failed (i think).  I have ordered an auditing text book that has a little more detail as well as gleim's cd to practice on.  It has seemed to help a little in understanding this area. As well as all the great people on this site...

i have not a great idea but wht i did i can tell you. DONT LOOK AT THE CHOICES . read the question and try to figure out the possible answer without looking at the options. then just find your answer. In audit , i also came up with 2 options mostly but i think it just need MORE & MORE pratice.

Best of luck.

I think transaction cycles are one of those topics that you cant only read, you have to actually do the mcq's to really understand; when you get them wrong read why you got them wrong and understand why each answer is wrong.  I too have trouble in this area, it will click, just practice.

I would agree with all the above.  I have now completed so many questions between gleim, becker, and other online free-be's that my head is spinning.  I try and figure the answer out before looking at the answers.  If i find it great (sometimes i find the answer that i think it is but i MAKE myself read all the answers no matter what.)

I then choose my answer.  If i am wrong then i make sure to try to thoroughly look into it as to why (gleim is not great at explaining).  If i read a couple answers that seem right i make sure that i read the explanations to try and obtain more understanding.

In all honesty i have obtained more knowledge about transaction cycles through trying the homework and reading the answers then the books from becker.
