Explanation
Choice "c" is the correct answer because it is an incorrect statement.

From a website this is what I got:
" Gateways are generally referred to as translation mechanisms between one protocol and another. Router does not communicate from one protocol to another. It's job is to connect one network to another" ( Basically I would say different networks)
Which one is correct? I personally think the website is correct.
Please advice.

This:

means the same as this:
" Gateways are generally referred to as translation mechanisms between
one protocol and another. Router does not communicate from one protocol
to another. It's job is to connect one network to another"
Protocols are like different languages. You need a gateway between two networks that operate on different protocols. A router routes traffic between two networks that operate on the same protocol. Many times the gateway is also the router, but technically they serve different functions.
