Please help with this question:

The cost of statistical quality control in a product quality cost system is categorized as a(n):

a internal failure cost
b training cost
c external failure cost
d appraisal cost

The answer is d appraisal cost, I think the correct answer is prevention cost (which is not given in the choices), what do you think?

Appraisal cost- answer is correct

example of appraisal costs are

- STIL -S- statistical quality checks

-T-testing

-I-inspection and

-L-maintenance of the Laboratory
