Hello everyone,

I am contemplating taking BEC in two weeks. I want to take it before a vacation rather than taking a week off and having to get back into study mode for early August.

I'm currently halfway finished with Becker chapter 4. Is two weeks enough time to finish the fifth chapter and review all of the material adequately? I'm working about 30 hours a week but could devote a lot of time to it. Also I just started studying for BEC only about 2 weeks ago so it's all pretty fresh.

It depends on how SMART you are. Based on your REG and FAR performance I'd say you could probably make it happen, easily.

B5 is kind of a bear, lot's of calculations (and the dreaded Budget Variance material) so you'd better get to work. I'm all for taking the exam while it's fresh, can't argue with that. If you don't think you'll be ready, it could be worth it to delay until August. But, if you can finish REG and FAR in a 2 month window, you can bang BEC out in 2 weeks, no problemo.
