Hi ,

I am new to BEC forum. Just started to read ch1 of becker.

I have come across some terminalogy which I don't know...would be nice and helpful if someone can explain to me. Thanks in advance!

What does it mean " submit a claim to arbitration"? I have no clue.

Its sort of like a preliminary step to going to court. An arbitrator will review the case with the parties present and try to determine and negotiate an accord.
