I'm thinking of taking BEC at the end of Feb after I take REG on 1/22.  Is 5 weeks enough studying for BEC?  Appreciate any feedback.

Doesn't matter how many days you study,
depends on how many hours. I studied for 1
1/2 weeks and passed, but studied 2-3 hours
after work mon-fri and then 10-12 hours
weekdays. Plus 4 days leading up to exam
took off work and did 12-14 hours a day.

From what I've read and people I know only
people who fail are people who don't put the
time in. Put the time in and you will pass.

Hi Scotch021,

What material did you use for FAR and BEC and what was your study routine for FAR?

Thanks.

I used exam-matrix software and it took me like 3 solid weeks of studying 2-4 hours each night and 8 or more hours on the weekends. I took some time off from studying the weekend before and over thanksgiving break and I thought I might not pass but I passed with an 83. I did like 80-90% of the practice questions. There were like 1100 of them.

I used becker. I would watch the first chapter
in the first lecture, then re-read it and then do
the homework for thst chapter. After doing
this fo each chapter, after the lecture was
done I would re-read the whole lecture and
then do all the homework. After doing this for
all 9 lectures then I went back and re-read
each chapter and then did the homework.

They talk about taking it piecemeal one
chapter in each lesson at a time, and that is
the best advice. This way you won't get
overwhelmed. Just remember that people
actually think they can pass without studying
every chapter...don't think like this unless you
have a photographic memory.

Good luck.
