Hi

I finished my AUD on Feb 22, now starting BEC again, it will be my 3rd attempt. Previously I used Becker and Wileys and faild at 73 & 71. I don't know it was a luck factor or some lacking in my study.

Most of people said Becker is not good for BEC. Please help, which brand is good for BEC. Money is not an issue.... I just want to pass BEC this time. I have exam on April 11. I started from becker's Book B-1.

RR_CPA, I'll let you know tomorrow :-).  This is my second attempt after failing with a 74 (Used kaplan).  I used the Gleim book this time around and I feel like I understand the basics/concepts a whole lot better now.  I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow........

Icandoit. Wow! You near doubled your FAR score between the first
time and third time! I'm so scared of FAR. I will begin preparing for it
next week after I take BEC tomorrow (good luck to us! :) ). I am using
Becker and supplementing with Wiley. What did you use to double
your FAR score?!

@Kemi, I didn't have time to study for FAR (after two unsuccessful attempts with REG) and my NTS was about to expire.  So I took it without studying.  I used whatever bit of knowledge I had from my college years (graduated 9 yrs ago).  As you can see, I didn't retain much :-).  The 71 was really my "first" attempt with FAR.  I then switched from Wiley book to Kaplan Cpa Review and passed REG/FAR/AUD (also used Gleim Test Prep for AUD).  BEC was the only exam I couldn't pass with Kaplan.  So I switched over to Gleim.

@RR_CPA, I think the Gleim book did a great job covering all the topics/details.  There were no surprises on my exam.  However, it was still tough.  So I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.

Good Luck to us all!!

[edit]

@RR_CPA, one more thing to add. The Gleim book has a lot of material. So if you are pressed for time, study with Becker and use the Gleim book for supplemental reading- for areas that Becker doesn't cover well.
