Fahad, don't lose your confidence. Becker's exams are ALWAYS tougher than the actual exam. I'll be sitting for FAR next week too. For the other 3 exams I've given, I scored between high 60's and low 70's in the Becker exams. But thankfully, I passed them all. Becker just tries to over-prepare you. You're not the only one scoring in that range, read the discussion on the link below:

Good luck to both of us and may we come back here next month to post our passing scores =)

Perspective....and be confident.  If you are going to hit someone, or make an impact on someone are you going to do it with even an ounce of reserve....no...give it hell, go down in flames....who cares the result, try again if you have too.

Looks like I cannot take the exam after 2 months of studying, I don't mind, I will double up on FAR and REG in December.  I will be guaranteed to pass FAR by then and probably pass REG.

Fake it till you make it if you have to as the old saying goes.  Think about our soldiers overseas facing real issues.

Take confidence and pride into the exam, then if you fail let us know and we can offer you help.............UNTIL then kick ass and grab those pamplets with confidence.....IF YOU are signed up here I suspect you are going to pass b/c most people wouldn't sign up and post.

I believe in you.....believe in yourself and know that you are not going to get a 100% but you are going to do well.  Release your ambitions and fear and concentrate on the task at hand without thinking about the top of the mountain and whats hidden there.  There is no top and no pot of gold for you there.  It is a process....

You are in essence studying to help others and not yourself, think of that, let that keep you up studying hard.  If you are studying for yourself solely than my message is not for you.  If helping others out with this CPA license is your goal than I am all for you, if your goal is for self gratification or improvement just because you have a CPA than I still wish you the best of luck :)  We all have a bit of that in us.  The challenge is to keep everything in perspective and be humble.

Enjoy the opportunity to take the test, kick ass, I would take it for you if I could.

Fahad,

I just took the AICPA exam and scored 72% also.  I spent the entire day doing Wiley Questions and got in the 90%.

The AICPA questions just killed me. I just got done right now.

I sit on 11/24 also, and am completely red in the face.

I guess just walk away from it for a little bit and come back tomorrow and work some more out.

Those AICPA questions just tore me up, I can't believe it.

We all have to sit for it.. so the best you can do is try.  Everyone keeps telling me the worst that can happen is I have to sit again...

I do hope you do well!  Give it your best shot.
