ok thanks,
Were the MCQ's easier than what is in some review books? Yes, for the most part. I used Wiley and Gleim and had several exam questions that were almost Identical to my review questions.
what review materials did you use? Did you get tips on how to answer the communication questions? Yaeger (they use the Wiley text) and Gleim test prep CD for additional MCs and the superior interface (it looks identical to the actual exam). Yaeger gives you a few tips on communication. The key points are to use proper english and structure, know who you're writting to (you can use jargon if writting to another CPA but keep it more general if writting to a client).
Like repeat in your first sentence what they are asking, give your support and than conclude with. Communications is an easy 10%. Just keep it short and sweet and address the question asked. If you can write at a 12th grade level you should be fine.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call me etc? I put this at the end of mine but I'm not sure if it matters.
