I would like to ask for opinion about the Chapter 3 in Becker 2009 Review Do you think I would be better if I study the Becker Chapter 3-B or use Wiley 2010 Book instead for this particular topic on Consolidations, Investments ? My reasoning is based on the content of Chapter 3-B in 2009: They are explaining the purchasing and pooling of interest methods and their MCQ are around that area( even though 3-B is on Acquisiton their MCQ have a lot purchasing and pooling questions) and I think that CPA Exam will have questions derived from Acquisiton method. Your Comments are Welcomed. Thx

I think Becker 3B explains the acquisition concepts very well. Though some of their questions are wrt old methods, you can always solve additional questions from Wiley. I did not use Wiley, so I don't know how it is for this particular chapter.
Since you have both Wiley and Becker. You should do both if your time allows. Wile Wiley does not focus on pooling interest method, it does not mean it will not be on the exam.
