So I just took the exam today .... I am pretty certain I failed because I gave up after I found out my second testlet got really really easy.

Testlet 1 - Medium Difficulty
Testlet 2 - Easy with a few medium questions
Testlet 3 - Medium

Sim 1 - Medium/Easy
Sim 2 - Medium/Easy

It took me about 60 minutes to take Testlet 1 and then I realized I was short on time so I started guessing on the last few questions. Bad idea. When I notice my second testlet was easy, I knew I failed the exam. By the time I got to the 3rd testlet and saw that it was still moderately easy - I wanted to stand up and walk out of the exam.

And this - marks the 3rd time I took FAR and probably failed once again.

Do you think studying with 2009 material for 2010 was the issue? I've watched the lectures twice, did the homework like 4 times now. I just don't know what it is anymore!!!

How should I study for this exam? I'm on the verge of giving-up this whole cpa crap!

you felt it was easy does not mean it was easy. may be you are well prepared so it was easy to you. Do not let emotion affect you during exam.

I put over 200 hundred hours for this exam and I felt a lot like you stress.. however in SIMS I think the only part correct are the writing parts, all the rest is complete but I don't think they are correct.

Anyway, my only hope is that I have read a lot of people in FAR thinking they failed and at the end the passed, so let's hope we are in that group

Um - I know I'm not part of that group. The questions were just way too easy.

Usually the complicated ones are multi-step processes but my questions were almost as easy as, "which one is an asset?"

This is so depressing.

I've been using Beckers 2009 material, guess it's time to move on!

Stressesout,

Please, do not give up hope. You were probably well prepared and the questions may have been easy to you.
I am using Becker 2009 and FAR is my last part. You mentioned the 2 SIMS were medium/easy which means that you probably completed the exam, which will give you a better chance of passing than if you did not finish.
Do not let FAR get you down. Pray about it, believe that you passed and God will do the rest.
