hi i am new in this forum, i got my reading material for FAR (videos and book) from Becker. Planning to sit for the exam in February, 2012. I am not sure will these materials help me out to pass the FAR? any feedback is highly appreciated

Yes, Becker will help you pass the exam. It worked for me!
Do everything Becker tells you to do, twice. That's what I did. Watch the
lecture, do the questions for that section. When your done with going
through once, then do it all again. Once that is complete do the exam.
Also, make sure you understand every page. You don't have to remember
everything, just be very familiar with the concept. My approach was to have
the ability to explain every page to my manager.
Keep all of your notes in the Becker book. Initially, I had my notes
elsewhere. That method proved ineffective and inefficient.

Hi afroz,
It depends on the person, some people do well with Becker
and some with others. For me was a mix of Becker and
Roger and Wiley. That helped me to pass.
One this is for certain, any course you do, if you do
what they tell you to do, u will pass.
As Kiera mentioned above, you need to do everything twice
or three times any course, that is the way to success.

Thanks Kiera and herewegocpa a lot for your feedback. Thats really help because I also planned to review the material 1 or 2 times more after I am done with reviewing it for the first time. Try to understand each material clearly, rest depends on luck. But thanks again for your time.
