Hi
I have passed all papers of the CPA exam. Right now I am unable to take up a full time job. Can I get the experience required for the license by doing a part-time job under a CPA ? Do CPA firms entertain such requests ? Also, how do u approach a CPA firm ? I contacted few of them through email, but no reply so far. Should u personally visit them ? Does anyone know of any good CPA firms in south jersey ?

I would try smaller CPA firms, especially those advertising on Craigslist. Some offer part-time work during tax season. Also, try getting a tax or valuation certification over the next year, and see if you can get in that way.
