I have EAD (work permit) and have my Green Card under process. I have done my CA from India and CPA from Colorado State. I am planning to apply CPA license Under Education in Lieu of Service.
Can someone please tell me on Form-E Affidavit of Eligibility Lawful
presence in USA?

Section A-2
I am not Citizen but am lawfully present in US as evidence by one of the following :
a. I am qualified alien as defined in 8 U.S.C
b. I am nonimmigrant under the immigration & nationality act
c. I am an alien who is paroled into the US under 8 U.S.C sec 1182 (d) 5
Of the above three options which one should I select.

Hi,
I am in same boat as you are. I am ready to apply, but am confused on same question.
1st option is for greencard holders, which we don't qualify.
2nd option looks more probable.
3rd option may also be true if it covers advance parole. Cause i did travel on advance parole.
But it would be a real help if you could share what did you do.
