Hi guys,

I just passed all 4 sections of the exam and now it looks like I'm stuck. I've worked in a private company as an accounting manager for the last 9 years, but nobody in my company holds a valid CPA license. How can I verifiy my general accounting experience?

Did anybody have a valid CPA license for at least 2 years during that 9 year period ?

No, not in my company :( It's a regular private company, they really didn't need CPA to run the accounting department.

The obvious solution to your problem is that you will need to get a new job at a place where a CPA will be supervising you.

Hmm. This is a tough one. Maybe find a state with more lenient requirement or volunteer with a nonprofit organization where there is someone with a CPA license.
