THANKS TO everyone who helped give their input on this exam, My ADVICE to people, take this exam FIRST!! I scored the lowest on it so far!! B/C once you pass that first part that 18 month period comes quick!!

also, get the Wiley book and Yaegar, Cindy on yaegar explains COST very well and the wiley book is better for IT than becker

Off to FAR forum and hopefully done with this exam forever!!

thanks everybody!!!

B

This was my first. It boosted my confidence to pass BEC on the first go round. I feel like I have a renewed spirit to continue attacking my REG studies.

I also recommend taking this exam first...but for different reasons than the original poster.  It is fairly easy and even though it makes sense to do this last, i think for the first-time exam taker, your score will provide you a pretty good gage on what is the appropriate amount of prep work you will need in subsequent exams.  I got my results for BEC and then adjusted my study time for Reg accordingly.  Confidence was really important and BEC allowed me to get my feet wet, so to speak and have a guaranteed pass while gaining familiarity with the whole exam process.
