It's official.  I have passed all 4 parts of the exam, met all other requirements, and have received my CPA license.  I am EXCITED! 2009 was my year to accomplish my goals.  My new year has started off on a good note as well.  Since I have completed my CPA journey I have received a promotion on my job.  God is truly an awesome God.  I am looking forward to more great things to come in the future.

Peace.

Congratulations on the CPA and the job promotion!  Do you work in public accounting?

What state are you in, and how long did it take from sending in the licensure application to receive the license?  I sent in my application a little over 6 weeks ago and am still waiting for my license.  I know it's still on the early side, but I've been checking the license verification search page for my name every day this week, haha.

Both of you guys are lucky to even get an application. I am a TN candidate and received notice that I passed back in November. However, I cant even get an application for licensure since the BOA still has not gotten my scores from NASBA. I emailed NASBA and was told that my scores wouldnt be transmitted until January 15th. WTF, thats two (2) months just to transmit scores!!!!

Wow itsjustme, that's ridiculous!  However, if your state provides the application forms online, you can still download them and fill them out (and give the relevant experience verification forms to your employers to fill out).  That's what I did.  Although if NASBA won't transmit scores to its states until Jan 15, maybe that's why I haven't heard anything about my license.
