Hi,
I just recently passed 4 parts of the exam and plan to apply for the license. I used to work for a private company which the CFO is an active CPA and he is willing to sign off on my application. Unfortunately, the company is out of business. I am concerned that if the Board calls for employment verification and there is no one there to verify my employment. What should I do?
Hello diemtrang, Even if your company is out of business it has to maintain its books and record for seven years and so give the name and address of the contact person. Besides along with your application send in your W2 with an explanation so that they don't waste any time going back and forth. Hope this helps.
