I think it's kind of unfair for certain states to have a 3-year grace period to apply for your license when you still need your 1-year work experience. Since accounting jobs are far and few these days, I'm pretty sure many people who are unable to find work will find themselves retaking the entire exam over again unless there's a way to prevent that. Have any of you guys run into this problem? Could you simply just transfer your scores to a state that doesn't have a score expiration date or work experience requirement? Some suggest transferring scores over to Colorado and applying for a license there, but I wanted to see what you guys think.
