Hi

I am writing my CPA exam through CO board. I have got 120
cr hrs for my educational evaluation.To get a CPA license
after passing all exams, can I work under a any CPA for 1
year and apply for license or is there specific kind of
work that I will have to do to get the license.

Yes, I look online about this. I think you would need 1 year experience

1. any combination of full-time or part-time work, including academic
internships, for one
or more employers that extends over a period of not less than one year
and not more
than three years;
2. acquired prior to the date the Applicant applies for certification; and
3. obtained no more than five years immediately preceding the date the
application is
received by the Board or its designee.   
B. The work experience must involve the application of appropriate
technical and behavioral
standards, such as the standards contained in the AICPA Code of
Professional Conduct, U.S.
GAAP, U.S. GAAS, Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements
(SSAE), Statements on
Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS), Statements on
Standards for Tax Services
(SSTS), Statements on Standards for Management Consulting Services, or
other such standards
as determined by the Board. "

Hey yukagin,

Can you please confirm what #1 means? To mean #1 and #3 are almost contradictory... you should have earned 1,800 hours in not less than 1 but no more than 3 years, but then you can have earned your experience up to 5 years prior to date of application?

I contact COlicense@nasba.org, but no response from them - is there another contact I can try to confirm this?
