Hi,

I passed three parts of the CPA exam, now I took the last one in May, if I pass it, my question is:
I worked in a bank for 2 and 1/2 years as an accoutant, and my direct supervisor is not a CPA, but the CFO, also my supervisor's boss is a CPA, I would like to know if I can get sign-off of the certificate of general experience with the CFO.

Thanks a lot!

Yes. If he is an active CPA, he can sign your paper.

I just read the CA handbook.

Hi,

The answer is Yes. I have consulted CA Board of Accountancy on the same issue.

There is no requirement that the signing CPA must be your DIRECT supervisor.

Anyway, please email CA Board of Accountancy. They are willing to assist you.
