I am currently sitting for CPA in Florida. I have 5 years previous work experience in public accounting. Does anyone know if this previous work experience counts, or does it have to come after passing the CPA. I went on the Dept of Reg web site and I thought it sounded like it had to be after. I called however, and was told prior was okay. I am very confused.

As long as anyone from from your previous who holds a CPA license signs off the form, then you're good for life...
