They offer two formats, CD-ROM or Text. Which one shall I buy? After I surfaced on internet, I found out that some people suggest CD-ROM because it allows searching for keywords, but some people say search function works occasionally. I am wondering if there is full search function in CD-ROM. Thanks!

I prefer book,you need to know some ethics knowledge if you want to practice,at least book can help you grasp the structure and logic of the code of professional code,one day it may be helpful to your work!
