With the changes introduced in timelines of score release, does anyone know when the congratulatory mailers would be sent out?

I passed the last 2 sections of my CPA exam this quarter and got my passing scores on 4th of November. Now wondering if they will send out the congratulatory note earlier than usual.

Congratulatory letters are sent out by your state board. My state board (Mississippi) sent my letter in less than a week after I got my final score. Of course, your state might be different.

By the way......congratulations!

CPA24, thanks for the information. I was under the impression that AICPA sends the letters. But yes, it obviously makes sense that the stateboard is the one who should be doing this.

I passed the exam in November 2011. I have gotten my scores online and in
the mail but no letter from the Arkansas state board. I called and they said I
can't do anything to start applying for my license until I received the
congratulatory letter. Anyone know how long it takes for Arkansas to send
these out? It's been a month and a half since the end of the window and a
month since I got my mailed scores!?

I got a call from home just now.

The congratulatory letter has come in today. I had written to the Examination Coordinator of Delaware on 1/4/2012 enquiring about this earlier and had received a reply that this was dispatched the same day (1/4/2012). However, being an international candidate, this must have taken 12 days to reach me.

I suggest to speak to your state board coordinator immediately.
