Once you receive the NTS, when is the earliest time you can sign up for the exam? The reason I am asking is because I have recently started studying for Becker and have not received my NTS, and when I do I might want to take the exam in a matter of weeks.

NTS is given for 6 months, you can schedule your exams anytime in that period. If you have applied recently, You should receive in 4-6 weeks and then you can schedule your exams in Oct- Nov window if you are ready.
