My application for CPA exams has currently approved. I plan to register the Becker review class in the coming days, but the tuition is very expensive, it's full price is $2825. My question is:

No.1.Does anybody know how to get a promotion price or discounnt price from Becker?

No.2, which one is better, going to live class or using lecture CD?

No.3. Are flashcard and final review necessary for preparing the exams?

No.4, Once I get NTS, could I schedule any date for an exam after NTS date? Or I need to schedule an exam date at least certain days like 5 days in advance?

I'm using the Self-Study CDs and enjoy the freedom to progress at my own pace.  From what I hard, going to the live class, you sit and watch the exact same lecture CDs.

I purchased the final review software, but opted not to buy the flash cards, so I could make my own.  It is a nice review right before the actual exam.  When you get your NTS, you can schedule the exams at any point as long as the dates are within the NTS window.  I usually have a "planned" date for my exams when I get my NTS and I go ahead and schedule the exams.

If you have any other questions, let me know:

Thansk for the helpful response. If I want my NTS from Nov. to Jul, what time should I send my ATT to Nasba? Today is Sep. 21. 08. In the other word, what time should I select my exams sections to NASBA?How long will it take from ATT to NTS?  I want to get NTS at the begining of Nov.this year.
