I applied for NH state in October (first time app) they cashed my check in 10-15 but I have not hear from them. I am international candidate ,FACS evaluated my transcrips.

Does anyone waited that long?  it will be six weeks at the end of this week... I am worried they may find deficient  :(

The application for NH may take up to 8 weeks to process and often does, so I would not be too concerned yet.

If you're really worried, you should telephone NASBA and ask them to verify that all your documentation has been received and that there are no problems with your application at this stage. They will tell you the status over the phone.

Lola thanks for your advice.

I called today and nothing good came out of it :( a CPA representative told me that I have a pending balance for BEC, I explained him that I only applied for FAR plus the app fees; then he transfered me to the NH coordinator who hapends to have a recorded message "I am NO answering phone due to high volume of calls; you must send e mail and explain your issue :( " I just did that.

I have not idea why they have me for the two sections when I only applied for FAR.  I hope they answer me soon, I am getting worried.

You must be so frustrated that no one contacted you to tell you about this problem with your application.

So are you sure that you definitely did not check the BEC box on the application form? If it was inadvertently checked then the person processing your application has assumed that you want BEC on your first NTS but have forgotten to pay the fee. If you accidentally checked BEC, it will be very difficult to get NASBA to proceed with your application without you sending them the BEC fee, even if it was checked mistakenly.

If you know for sure that you did not mark the BEC box, there has probably just been an error in the data entry process. Try asking the representative to locate your original paper application form to verify that only FAR was selected. If you made a copy of your application before you sent it, it might help support your case if you scan and attach it to an email to the coordinator.

It will probably take a couple of days for the NH coord to return your email, so don't be too discouraged if you don't hear back right away. Good luck and I hope that this is resolved soon!

Hi Lola, yes I am positive I did not applied for BEC, I keep copy of my application with all atachments in a handy folder at work, including cashed check. When I asked the rep. if he could see my original app. he refered me to the NH coordinator for help me  :( go figure.

My plan is that as soon as they contact me or I contact them again I will pay the $178.58 by CC so that way is faster. The only concern is that I wanted BEC for the last last :(  ... but I have to take that part anyway, perhaps is better early than later!!!.

Thanks for your positive words!!!
