Hi guyz ... kindly help me on some confusions..

I am about to join the becker cpa classes in New Delhi. I have only minimum qualifications as per the accounting hours goes.
B.Com(H), CA Foundation. (some computer certificates are of no use here), so, in my case.. I can only apply through DE ..i.e. Delaware. Right!
becker gave me these prices ..
1870$ - BeckerCPa Exam Prep .. (those 13 Classes)
548$ - Fed Tax Online
120$ - Evaluation
944$ - Official Exam Fees (DE)
+ Travel & Stay .. 1500$ more

but the problem is the classes is only n Sundays, & I cant attend all the classes since I have to go to outstation sometimes.. and they say in india you cant have online or other option, and you will not be getting lecture CDs.. is that correct?

2ndly, Is there any other real competition to becker here .. or they virtually have the monopoly?

3rdly, What I have understood is that we need becker basically for the processing and logistics etc. otherwise wiley books can be purchased at 150$ only.. but selfstudy we dont do with regularity.
so where can we go other than beckers .. nowhere??

I will be glad if SMIRA or other old members can comment or advise me..

I have read that CPa exam will be taking place from other countries from Fall-2009 .. ??//
