I got the score (73). I was using Gleim(08 edition) for preparation. I have some questions how to improve my scores. First, do you think I need to buy 09 edition cd for preparation? Second, do you think I need to review the Gleim book again or just do the MC on the CD? Third, I plan to focus on the CPA questions on the CD, is it enough to prepare the exam? Thank you so much.

1) I used an 08 becker book so no

2) I would stick to MC and review the concepts on areas you get less than 75% on

3) I don't use Gliem but if there are over 1000 MCQ and they are well diversified, then I would say you can stick to that

4) don't forget, you get your results mailed to you which will allow you to focus your studying in the future.  Also, don't over look the simulations

I used Becker.  You just really have to focus and go through the concepts you don't understand.  There were a lot of things (as you might remember) that you study that don't even show up on the exam.  Also the Wiley book has some intense detail and you can go read it at the library or at Borders.  I spent a few days in Borders reading it but not sure how much it helped me.

Be sure you are getting 90% on your Becker questions!

I think there is no need to buy 09 edition.I used gleim test prep cd for mcqs for all four parts and i think it prepared me well.Don't waste time in doing publishers questions and use it in practicing past cpa mcqs as many times as possible.I practiced atleast 3 times.Even if i knew the right answer i tried to understand why others are wrong.Mark the questions you are doing wrong and revise them just before exam. For simulations i think wiley is damn good. You can get in your city liabrary.

You can find some wiley questions and simulations here-

If you need notes prepared from becker then there is the link-

Good luck
