Hi guys. Just wanted to thank anyone who can help me out with my question.

Part of the business semester requirements says that you can use math classes to fulfill these units. I have a BA in something other than Accounting or Business and I took 8 quarter units in Calculus and 4 units in Statistics. I'm sure the Statistics will count towards my business units requirements, but can those 8 units of Calculus count towards the business semester units (quarters converted to semesters of course). If they do, that'd be super good since I would have to take only 1 more class to be done with my business requirements.

And I don't think this matters, but I'm a CA candidate. Thanks.

See pages 13 and 16 at

See 9.2(c) on page Article 2, page 11 at

It appears calculus should count, but contact the state board to make sure.  Or you may choose to simply apply without drawing attention to it.  I was concerned that my state board (not Calif) may not accept all of my credits.  But I simply applied, and was approved with no hassle.  But I was prepared to argue my point if had they not accepted all of my credits.

Best wishes!

If you find out anything definitive, please post it here.  I just noticed the same thing last week and was wondering if my 8 calculus units would count towards the requirement in CA.  It would make things so much easier!

Calculus is not a business-related course. The only way calculus counts towards meeting the requirements is if your board specifically requires calculus.
