Thanks to those who answered my last post, but I have further questions-
Has anyone applied to the CO board of accountancy after attending a university outside the united states? I am a US citizen and attended a University in the Middle East that is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. This seems to be the criteria for an eligible university by CO board rules, but does it still count as a foreign university that needs evaluation since it is outside the US? I could just submit my transcipts to be safe but i don't want to waste the time and money if possible. Who can i ask about this? What email address at NASBA or the CO board is most likely to reply to emails?
If I use a foreign evaluator, should I do that before beginning my application, or after? How does the timing work?
Also, when applying to CO, one has to fill out an "affidavit of eligibility" stating that you are either a US citizen and resident, a US citizen living abroad, or a foreign national. The format is pretty clear, but can it just be signed and mailed in with the application, or does it need to be signed in the presence of a notary public?
