Hi,

I did my Bachelor's degree in Business from India and currently residing in California. I got my degree evaluated from ACEI they said its equal to 3 years of study and gave me 90 credit unit for it. I was wondering if anyone could suggest which state should I apply for the CPA exam since California Boards requires a US Bachelors degree? Second question, if I take the exam in some other state and want to do job in California, will it be accepted here?

What was your bachelors degree? check out dellaware. u can register for an online course and obtain the balance credits to be eligible.

Thanks Vernon. My Bachelor's of Arts degree is in Business Administration. I am also working towards an Accounting certification from an community college which is about 30 units, after which I will have total of 120 credits but most states requires US Bachelor's degree.

ok.. u have any idea as to which states accept indian bachelors degree?

Delaware should be your last option. You will need at least 4 years of work experience under an active CPA just to get your license.
