Hey guys, what frustrated me was that I just heard rumors- that there were like 10 maximum exam attempts in some state alongside the 18 month requirement.
Is it true or not? I am with Washington State and I just failed FAR (I passed it once in 2006) and REG
Thanks!

Here is the link to the Washington state Society of Public Accountants.
https://www.discovercpa.org/discovercpa/exams/index.cfm
It says "You can take the exam section by section, and you can take it as many
times as you need to pass all four sections. Once you pass your first
section of the exam, however, you have 18 months to finish passing all
of the exam sections. If you do not do so, you will need to re-take and
pass those sections that you passed more than 18 months ago."
Good luck on your exams!

That rumor is wrong... you can take the test 4 times per a window for the 18 months
