I have applied for and am taking the CPA exam in MA. I went to school here and have the following eduction:
1) Education - Masters in Accounting and an MBA (obviously undergrad, however, not in accounting).
2) sections complete - While I am sitting for the CPA exam currently, I have only passed 3 of the 4 sections to date.
3) work experience - I am am currently thinking of a change in jobs to an internal accounting role within a company. The problem is that I only have ~750 hours of attest work.
There are several questions on have:
Per the MSPCA, the following is from their website....
'With 150 credits, you need one year of public accounting experience for a full reporting license and the CPA experience must include 1000 hours of report (attest) experience as defined in these sections. With a graduate degree in accounting, business, or law, no experience is required for certification/licensure, but the candidate can only apply for the non reporting license.'

a) I believe this means I can be a CPA without having to wait for my hours, this is correct right?
b) if I decide to go this route and leave before obtaining the required hours....does my license look any different from others? will it say on it non reporting license on the certificate?
