I didn't think this would affect me as bad as it has. Getting a 73 and knowing that I will spend weeks again preparing for the exam again after weeks of studying for my current exam prep REG and AUD. I just keep wondering how to stay positive and keep a happy focus. The cost of having to pay for another exam is depressing by itself.

I really need another DNP CPA friend for support. Thank you for any advice and cheer up talk that you can give. No family member or non-CPA Candidate understands.

Hi Gina123,

You are not alone!! I got checked my results first thing this morning and had 70! To make matters worse, I have a REG test tomorrow (am) and I loose the first test I passed because the 18 months expire this month.

I have psyched my self up to pass the REG and hopefully have 2 more to write next year.

Keep your head up, only people who have gone through this the hard way will understand. Best of luck in your studying and don't beat yourself up!

Even though you didn't pass FAR, having some of that FAR knowledge will help you with the audit exam. But yeah, it sucks coming so close to passing. I just found out last night i got a 71 for audit. :(

I know what you mean when you say non-CPA candidates don't understand. Yes, the CPA exam is harder than the GMAT and your little "teaching certification" exams. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..................

I just found out I got a 72. I almost jumped off a bridge and I have audit tomorrow and feel even less sure about the material.

I know one thing. I'm going to allow my self more time for the simulations which are way harder then then Becker's. Also I think I was the one a$$hole to get a government simulation.

On the bright side, it will be easier to study agian and the re-application process is much quicker and easier.

Also does anyone know is Georgia gives a Diagnostic report out.

mcguim, don't despair, i felt exactly the same way when i got 74 in AUD few days before my REG exam. I got so depressed and could not concentrate. That's why I am so thankful to this forum because people here are very supportive. Everyone struggles with the CPA test, you just have to do your best and don't loose hope. I scored 66 on my first try with REG but the second time around was easier since I already knew the concept so i just focused more on my low points. it helped a lot. i'm sure you will do well on your next try. good luck!!!
