hi! i'm graduating in may 2010 and i can't apply to sit
until i graudate. therefore, i don't expect to be able to
schedule an exam until perhaps august 2010.

i have becker and was planning to do self-study. is it too
early to start studying? is it bad to study multiple
sections at once?

I think you should draw up a plan on what you hope to accomplish once you graduate. I think your priority now should be completing your last semester, making sure you will have the right amount of credits to sit for the cpa exams, and focus on seeking a job.

thanks for your response. my last semester shouldn't be too
difficult, and i will be meeting the cpa requirements by
the end of my last semester, and i've already signed with a
firm. so i'm just at a loss as to when to start studying!

Start studying tonight. I say it's never too early to start studying!!! Some people will say "If i study too far ahead of time then i will forget it by the time i take the exam." Whatever. That means you never really learned anything in the first place.

Once you start studying and see everything you have to learn, you will wish that you had started studying sooner.

Thanks! I'm using Becker, and I guess maybe I'll just do
everything 2x?
