The UCLA Extension accounting courses are offered in two parts for example 'Principles of Accounting' 1A and 1B. Both are 4 quarter unit course. Or 'Intermediate Accounting Theory and Practice' 1240 and 120B.

If you were to take both of these, do you earn 8 units total toward your accounting unit requirement? State of CA.

Edit: I mean, do you earn 8 quarter units (convert to semester) or only 4 quarter units because both of these classes have the same title?

No, UCLA is on the quarter system so you have to do the math to get them to semester units. I believe it's 8 * 2/3 so the credits are just over 5.
