Hi All,

Since i'm not sure about when to apply for NTS, pls. help me.

Right now i'm preparing for FAR and planning to take the exam in April first week 2010, when should i apply for NTS. I'm in Texas and people are telling that the NTS is valid only for 90 days from the date we receive the NTS by email.

If this is the case, if i apply for the NTS today, how long will it take to approve and can i write the exam as per the plan?

Also i'm planning to take the AUD in May 2010, when should i apply for the NTS?

Pls. help me to know more about the NTS, especially in Texas.

If you are taking FAR in April, then apply for your FAR NTS the first or second week of march. I think you call NASBA first and pay for the section, and then they will email you an NTS that day. Then you can call the testing center to schedule the appointment.

Every NTS is valid for only 90 days. It will tell you the exact date it expired on the NTS.

If you are taking AUD in May, then pay for and get your NTS early April.

I am set to take FARE Jan 23, 2010 My NTS expires Feb. 11, 2010.

I would like to sit for AUD or BEC in the next testing window but what if I don't pass FARE?

Also my Becker materials expire in May and I am really just beginning!!! They will only extend my time with the materials if I have an exam scheduled. What should I do???

I guess the main reason for all of this is procrastination, anxiety and fear amongst life itself.

Please help!

Alowens, just calm down. Even if you don't pass FAR, go ahead and take AUD or BEC in April. I would recommend taking BEC first. How long Becker will exetend your materials?
