Attempt 1 - 49 (obviously weak in all categories)

Attempt 2 - 59 (again, weak in all categories)

I honestly don't know what I'm just not getting in this.  My current study material is Yaeger review with the Wiley text and software.  I have read the book - twice, and I'm not a person that reads, ever.  I've watched the videos 3 times now, and worked through all multiple choice questions at least twice now.  Everything I'm reading makes sense, so I'm not quite sure how to proceed at this point.

To change things up, as I'm getting the multiple choice questions memorized, I'll be downloading the Gleim questions.  I'm also considering the Yaeger cram, just to see if they say things a bit different.  Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks in advance.

Memorizing multiple choice is not the way to go.You have to
understand why each choice is right and why the others are
wrong. You should spend more time practicing on the
software (wiley or gleim) where everything is mixed up by
topic. I often found with book questions that I would
remember the Yaeger people going over it on the DVD, so it
didn't really test how well I knew it.

I tend to do that too, but it's purely because how my mind works. After the 2nd pass through, no matter how random, I'll memorize the answers. What I do then is before I click on the right answer I ask myself why the others are wrong before choosing that answer. It's also best if you buy a test bank and go through them and see how you do.

I'm the same way.  I don't want to memorize the answer, it just happens that way.  I also spend time looking at why the other answers are wrong (looking for the one word, or the trick/trap), and I type that information into my notes.  I'd like to think that I have pretty solid notes on this section, but maybe I'll just junk them and type up some new notes.

I downloaded the Gleim questions last night, but I'm taking this week off to decompress a bit.  Any thoughts toward the Yaeger cram, or are my scores too low for it to benefit me?

Well I used becker so I am not sure whether Gleim is the same. But, my strategy was to watch the video once. Its very boring and many candidates in CPAnet forums have suggested that you watch the video once and I followed their advice and it worked for me. You should do the m/c a lot more than watching the video. I would say that doing the m/c 2 times is not enough. It doesn't matter if you are remembering some of the m/c the second time around. But you should do the m/c at least another 2 times again during the final review to fully understand the materials and how the examiners trick you in the testlets. Just keep at it and don't give up, and I am sure you will pass.
