Hi!

Could you please advise me if I will have problems if I take AUD before FAR? I am weaker at AUD compared to FAR.

I took Audit first, and failed by 1 point. I wouldn't say that it was because I didn't take FAR first though. I just slacked off because I passed the first two and wasn't killing myself doing it. I got an 83 the second time around. I have been studying FAR for a month now, and I don't really see how it would have helped that much in studying for Audit.

I am an auditor (government) though so maybe that has something to do with it.

In my opinion, you could do it.

I think taking AUD and FAR you have to learn the ratios in both. But you
should already know that stuff. You just get more practice in FAR which I
guess is why people recommend you take it first

That said, I agree with the above posted. What carries from one section to
the next is minimal and you should already know it

You will not have any problems if you take AUD before FAR. I did the same thing and I am glad that I did that. I was able to pass AUD the first time, it was my first section and passing the first section the first time, gave me a great boost for my next section FAR.

Thank you all so much for your advice and encouragement. Someone
on this forum mentioned that his AUD exam had several journal
entries that he had to make. Careermindedmom has just advised me
about ratios. Could you possibly please tell me what topics are
covered in both AUD and FAR? I have not touched these two yet.
