Thanks,

The sequence is really up to you.  I personally chose FAR-AUD-REG-BEC.  FAR first because I wanted to get it out of the way before I start my rolling 18 months.  BEC last because I wanted to save the easiest for last.  (I'm fairly strong in those subjects)

I joined Becker at roughly the same time I sent in my application.  Becker comes in about a week but then you don't receive your NTS for about a month and a half to two months.  As a result, even though I received Becker, I didn't install it until a month before I received my NTS.  That way I could study and sit for a test fairly soon after I received the NTS.

Thank you for your response. One more question pls .. since you said you also joined Becker... did you join a becker live class format or an online class format. Which of the two is a more effective way to grasp?

They're both the same. The class format just pops in the
tutorials you would have received in the self study
(though due to complaints, they are changing the
structure to make the instructors actually do something
besides popping in the CD).

In terms of comprehension, they're pretty much the same
though I suppose if you're REALLY struggling, having the
instructor explain the more difficult concepts at a live
class might help you out. The lectures dumb down a lot of
the material so I don't think you'll really need to. I
personally took the live class just so it was something I
was forced to do. They give you the CDs of the lectures
at the live session too that you would have received had
you just did the self study.

Adding to the comments from "one00proof" and "SoonerCPA".....

I took the Becker live class at a university.  Two of the instructors were also professors / instructors at the university.  I found that the live lectures were very different from the CDs.  The live instructors were much more dynamic and to the point than the two guys on the CDs.  I watched one CD and did not bother watching the rest.

For me, the live class worked best because it drove me to get into the study mode and stay on track.  I was able to pass all sections on my first attempt using only Becker.  I read and re-read the book many times for each section and completed all of the multiple choice questions.  Similar to what others have said, the key is to really understand why you missed a particular question.  Other review courses and books may be good and cheaper.... but, I chose Becker because of the fact that the courses were taught on campus.

Finally, I followed the same path as "SoonerCPA".... FAR-AUD-REG-BEC... for similar reasons.... but, definitely choose whatever path is most comfortable for you.  I wanted to complete the longer exams first and finish with the shortest exam...BEC.  Also, the BEC material covered some of the same topics that I took while completing my MBA.

Good luck.
