Hi all! I'm just beginning to start my CPA process - I sent in my application and supporting documents around mid-March and when I called Pearson VUE, they confirmed what I sent, and said they received everything they needed and they would bring it to the supervisor, and then the DC Board of Accountancy for review.
They said the Board meets the beginning of every month, and that's where they decide. Does anyone have any experience with this, and how "easy" it is to be approved? I have all my requirements and I can't think of why I wouldn't, but I just want to know the length because I'm starting to study for FAR next week and would like to take it 7 weeks after, which should be sufficient time, I hope.
In addition, if I wanted to transfer my CPA license (hoping that I receive it) to Maryland, does anyone know the process for that? Would I still be able to, even though I do not have 150 credits just yet? (In DC you can sit for the exam with 120, and get licensed at 150 - I'll have my 150 by the end of May through an online course because I'm working FT.)

Well, I haven't found much information about it just yet,
but I heard from the board and they have my information on
file. It took about 3.5 weeks, and now they have to
approve it and then send over my payment coupons.
Hopefully I get them soon because I want to take a section
at the end of May...
