I failed Audit again for the 3rd time and I need help on how to approach my
beast for the 4th time.
My scores were 57, 70, 71.
I used Becker for all 3. For 2nd & 3rd attempt I added Wiley M/C & Roger
Cram course. What GETS ME is that I had a one point increase yet I felt more
confident about getting at least a 75 leaving the test center in comparison
my 2nd retake.
This exam is absolutely horrible!!

Anewfoundsin: I am in the same boat. I left the testing center on May 27 confident I had put in at least a 75 performance. I failed with a 72. I have my 4th re-take scheduled for July 28! I am using Yaeger Home Study, Wiley Test Bank and Gleim Test Bank. This time I am only going to review areas in the book that I feel I am weak in and concentrate on doing as many MCQs and Sims as I can. Good luck to you!

I find it very interesting how people got through REG, but struggle with AUD. AUD was my weakest area in college and it happened to be the easiest one to study for. I'm studying for REG right now and I'm so demoralized because it just looks like it's impossible to pass. 7.5% Medical, 10% Casualty Loss with $100 floor (used to be $500), AGI thresholds, etc etc etc. Errr. It's ridiculous!!
Anyways, sorry, I'm just venting. Back to your question. What helped me pass AUD was LOTS and LOTS of practice multiple choice questions. Seriously, keep doing them and keep learning from your mistakes. After doing over 500 questions, you'll finally start realizing that they're asking you the exact same questions in different ways with different tricks. Trust me, just keep doing questions and eventually, it will all click! But make sure you learn from your mistakes. That's how you learn the concept! Good luck!

I was finally able to pass AUD with a 75, it was my 5th attempt.
I used Yaegar for the first two attempts then added Gleim for 3rd (though did not practice enough of MCQ from Gleim) and then Lambers for 4th (the lectures were good) but couldn't make it again. For the last attempt I used Gleim addnl MCQ's and tried to practice, over and over. Also, used Gleim Simulation wizard and was able to use it a little. Also, used Becker flashcards. Have heard good things about Roger and Becker for AUD.
I understand that different material works for everyone. AUD really puzzled me as well. I am not the right person to give you advice since I was not able to score as much after taking it 5 times but I believe lots and lots of practice iof MCQs is key alongwith understanding the concepts. Stay positive.
Goodluck

As
a person who got a C+ in Auditing in college and a 47 on the first attempt on
this exam, I can safely say I was the worst Auditing student in history. I just
couldn’t get it no matter how hard my instructors explained it. The material
was so dry and just didn’t seem to make sense when explained to me. But then
when I started watching the Yaeger HomeStudy videos, everything finally made
sense. I strongly recommend Yaeger for AUD. I think it’s excellent!!
