I lost my opportunity to go to big4 when I was a student. If I want to be hired as experienced staff, how could I make efforts? I am working in the small CPA firm now. I am expecting my CPA license next year. Thanks for all the advices!

Why would you want to work there?

Mostly likely the desire to work for the Big 4 is derived from their employees ability to receive great jobs after leaving the firms. So who wouldn't want to work for the Big 4 if they had the chance, if they didn't have kids, or in a serious relationship.

I was rejected by big 4 two years ago. I still can not get over it.

Maybe big 4 is not the best choice for me, but I never know without trying.

In addition, I want to prove to those recruiters who rejected me two year ago that they were wrong!

I know what you are feeling. I was rejected by all big 4 and by Moss Adams today. Last nail in my coffin. I am so glad I have accepted an offer from a small CPA firm. It hurts when you are rejected. I actually do not even want to work for big 4 anymore because they have rejected me. If they reject based on personality, then my personality will not change after 2 years. My experience will change but that is all. I assume I have wrong personality for them. I just want to become the best CPA and steal some of their clients, at least in my dream. That would be my revenge, to make them feel what a great CPA they rejected.
