I have a few questions for all those who have worked at the Big 4 for 2 years (or less, it's not that important).
What type of job did you get? Was it easy, difficult, or moderately difficult in getting an interview? Was it easy, difficult, or moderately difficult in getting a job? Did you get paid more or less in your new job? What city do you live in when you made this change?
Thanks in advance for everyone's responses! I just want to take survey to get a better feel of what type of jobs I can get after 1 1/2 years of public accounting experience.

Former Big 4 workers go into practice industry, med-sized cpa firms, banks, and other financial organizations. The interview depends on which company they go to, but I'm told with a Big 4 brand on the resume...your resume gets moved up the stack. Getting the job depends on if they were hiring to begin with. Not quite sure how things are spanning w/ the economy. It used to be easy getting into other places. Former clients typically hired their external auditors by invitation. Pay is almost always higher in most case. Some even double what they got paid at a Big 4.
