How does an experienced worker (few years of tax, audit and other attestation services experience) get into the Big 4?

Do you have to know someone in the firm?

And if you get in, do you have to start from the bottom (i.e. - staff 1 or staff 2 and work your way up)?

Don't know if any of you can answer this question, but it's worth a try.

I'd like to know too. I've gone to numerous meet-n-greets, pulled inside strings, and gone through company websites. Nothing.
