I know undergrads do their on campus interviews one year before their graduation. But what about graduate school students, especially for those who are in a 1-year program?

Say I enrolled in a one-year MBT program for fall 2012. When should I go to those campus recruiting events? Do I get involved in campus recruiting right after I get admitted to the program?

I would recommend you take 1 or 2 classes part-time in
Spring 2012 so you can participate in Meet the Firms and
other spring recruiting events. This will give you two
benefits once your start the MBT in the fall- (1) you'll
have grades established and (2) you would have built
relationships with professionals.

Ideally you'd be looking for full-time positions for Fall
2013 or January 2014 based on specialty (audit or tax) and
size of the firm.
